7 sept 2024. Intensely sad. Sif gave everything last night to bring her 2 puppies into the world. Unfortunately, the puppies were not viable and showed no signs of life. What a nightmare.

The first puppy weighed 118 grams, the second 291 grams (also very little). The first puppy was clearly dead and insufficiently developed. The second puppy did not move, did not live, but Sif and we tried everything to let this perfect gray male live.

Yes, we went to the vet between births. Because it was not a birth according to the book. In retrospect... we realize that the puppies never had a fighting chance.

We are heartbroken and find all this terrible, especially for Sif, who showed us in a short time what a beautiful mother she would be. And who is now left with an empty nest 💔

Many have been looking forward to the birth of the puppies with us. We already felt so much love, the loss is great.

We are in mourning, we appreciate a message, but do not disturb us. Thank you for your support and sympathy.
